Using this website

By using this site you agree to use it lawfully and not to introduce anything that may damage, interfere with or intercept any system, data or personal information. We may change these terms from time to time, and continuing to use the site means you accept the version published here.

Intellectual property

The design, text and photographs on this website belong to Signature Alloy Wheel & Body Repairs or its partners and are protected by copyright. You may view the site on screen and print or download extracts for your own private use. You may not reuse any part of it for a commercial purpose, or republish it on another website, without our written permission.

Accuracy of information

The guides and service descriptions on this site are general information, published free of charge. We take reasonable care to keep them accurate, but vehicles and paint systems vary and nothing here is a substitute for an inspection of your actual vehicle. Do not rely on general guidance in place of a quote from a technician who has seen the damage.

Quotes

• Quotes given from photographs or a description are given in good faith on the basis of the information supplied.
• If the damage turns out to be more extensive than it appeared, we will tell you before continuing and agree a revised price with you. We will not carry out extra work and invoice you for it afterwards.
• Quotes are valid for 30 days unless we state otherwise.
• Quotes are free and place you under no obligation to book.

Carrying out the work

• Mobile repairs need reasonable access to the vehicle and suitable conditions. Paint and lacquer will not cure correctly in rain or in very low temperatures, so we may need to rearrange an outdoor booking. We will contact you as early as we can.
• Some damage cannot be repaired safely or to an acceptable standard. Where that is the case we will say so and recommend replacement rather than carry out a repair we do not stand behind.
• Colour matching is carried out to the manufacturer paint code and blended into the surrounding finish. On older or faded paintwork an exact factory match may not be achievable, and we will discuss this with you before starting.
• Please remove personal belongings from any vehicle left with us. We cannot accept responsibility for items left in a vehicle.

Our guarantee

Repairs carry a guarantee on parts and workmanship. If a repair fails as a result of our work we will put it right at no cost to you. The guarantee does not cover fresh damage, general wear, damage caused by an accident or by improper care after the repair, or failures on areas we advised against repairing.

Payment and cancellation

Payment is due on completion unless we agree otherwise in writing. If you need to cancel or move a booking, please give us as much notice as you can so the slot can be reallocated.

Where you are a consumer and the contract was agreed at a distance or away from our premises, you have the right to cancel within 14 days. If you ask us to start work within that period and then cancel, we may charge for the work already carried out.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited under English law, and nothing here affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of this website.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
